The Origin of The ZEK Band®

With over 15 years of experience as a performance coach, the creator of  The ZEK Band®,  Dustin Woods, has worked with athletes at every level — from youth and collegiate athletes to Olympians and professionals in the NFL, MLB, and NBA, his coaching experience spans across competitors at every level. From the Olympic stage to multiple Super Bowls, his career has been devoted to helping others perform at their best, and live with purpose.

Before his time with organizations such as the Philadelphia Eagles, Los Angeles Rams, and Xavier University, he served as Director of Strength and Conditioning with the Chinese National Short Track Speed Skating Association — an experience that profoundly shaped his understanding of movement and performance. Their training methods sparked an idea that extended far beyond one sport and inspired a system that Dustin believes any athlete would benefit from.

That idea led to the creation of the ZEK Band® — a training innovation designed to help athletes better tolerate and train the mechanical demands of change of direction in a smarter, more accessible way. Named after his three children — Zoe, Eli, and Kaia — it represents more than a product. It’s a legacy of love, faith, and service.

Through this platform, he and his family hopes to create opportunities to serve and encourage others— making a lasting impact in communities around the world while sharing the love of Jesus Christ. He and his family commits at least 10% of all revenue to charitable causes and nonprofit foundations.
